A catch-all functionality that is activated for a specific mailbox will allow you to receive emails that are sent to addresses that do not actually exist. Otherwise put, if you deactivate an email address and somebody still sends a message to it, or to any miswritten address under the very same domain, you’ll get the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you won’t miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be vital in case you run a business, for example. Since you may start receiving spam, you can combine the catch-all option with anti-spam filters so as to get only legitimate messages in your inbox. Just one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

You will be able to create a catch-all e-mailbox effortlessly if you’ve got a cloud hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager in our custom Hepsia hosting Control Panel is full-featured, yet very intuitive, and it will enable you to enable different features, including the catch-all one, with just a couple of clicks of the mouse. All the mailboxes that you have will be listed alphabetically in this section and next to each one you’ll find a tiny "Catch-all" button. Clicking on it once will activate this option, clicking it for a second time will disable it. Since you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain name, our system will notify you if you already have a different mailbox with this option activated or if you’ve got activated email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

The catch-all functionality can be activated effortlessly in case you have a semi-dedicated server account with our company. All the email addresses that you have set up with the domain names hosted in your semi-dedicated server account will be displayed in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section and you will notice a small symbol handily situated directly next to each one of them. With only a single mouse click, you can activate or deactivate the catch-all option for any mailbox of your desire as long as there isn't another mailbox under that same domain with the option already enabled and there isn't active email forwarding. Alternatively, you can right-click on an email address and activate this option using the contextual menu that will show up. In case any of the requirements for creating a catch-all mailbox is not met, our system will let you know, but will not replace or deactivate anything automatically.
